The Learning Hub is an online, easily accessible resource created by the Academic Skills Team in the Business School. The purpose of Learning Hub is to support the development of academic skills such as critical thinking, time management, numeracy, referencing and note taking. It also includes tips on working in groups and how to give an engaging an effective presentation. These key skills support the development of soft skills sought by employers and help to develop the University’s graduate profile in our graduates.

The One Button Studio was launched and bookings were made available to all University of Auckland staff at the end of March this year. Uptake from the Business School has been considerable, and departments have been taking advantage of the different functions and recording layouts to meet their individual needs.

At ILT’s Learn Do Share 2017, Sally Eberhard shared a number of her most popular Canvas ‘Tips and Tricks’ with attendees.
As part of her session, Sally also invited attendees to share their own tips and tricks. All these valuable ideas, tips, tricks, and reminders have been helpfully consolidated into a Google Form which can be edited so that anyone can add to it.
